A Supply Technician in the Department of Health and Human Services in the state of Nevada ensures smooth operations by managing and distributing essential supplies and equipment. Working in warehouses, stockrooms, or offices, Supply Technicians handle documents, maintain inventory records, and ensure the timely flow of goods. Known for their attention to detail, organizational skills, and reliability, they support the efficiency of operations in hospitals, schools, and other institutions, ensuring everyone has the necessary resources.

Salary Range


  • $35,000 – $49,000/ year

Education & Timeframe


  • Start Your Journey: High School Diploma or equivalent; One year of experience in stocking, shipping, issuing and receiving materials in a retail, storeroom or warehouse environment
  • Relevant Experience: Two to three years of experience to become an Supply Tech I and Supply Tech II which  includes purchasing a variety of supplies, equipment and materials; maintaining inventory records; inventory storage and handling; and shipping and receiving materials and equipment
  • Advanced Experience: Four to five years of relevant work experience to become a Supply Tech III and IV which includes developing delivery schedules for materials and equipment, supervising subordinate staff, budget record maintenance, maintaining computerized inventory records, training staff on computerized inventory systems
