The Nevada Hospital Association (NHA) advocates for Nevada’s hospitals, health systems, communities, and patients before legislative and regulatory bodies. 
The Nevada Public Health Association (NPHA) provides the opportunity for all public health professionals to participate in advocacy and contribute to health policy. 
Nevada Rural Hospital Partners offers a variety of programs, services, and initiatives designed to ensure the viability of Nevada’s 13 critical access hospitals.  Advocating at the legislative and regulatory levels, it works to reduce cost, generate savings, enhance quality, share resources, and expand the use of technology. 
Nevada Statewide Coalition Partnership is dedicated to uniting efforts across Nevada to address behavioral health, foster trauma-informed communities, and empower individuals to thrive.
The Nevada Certification Board provides community and behavioral health professionals with certification, continuing education resources, and advocacy that validate their competencies to provide ethical, person-focused, and evidence-based services to meet the needs of vulnerable individuals in Nevada.

3RNet is a job search resource for health professionals seeking careers in rural and underserved communities. 
Community Chest supports the development of the current workforce through various funded workforce development programs for both adults and out-of-school youth. 
Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETR) is Nevada’s lead workforce development agency offering workforce development and related assistance, job placement and training, services for people with disabilities, investigation of claims of discrimination, and more. DETR services are designed to address assessment, training, treatment, and job placement for Nevadans with disabilities. The Division places primary emphasis on providing necessary services to help clients work and live independently. 
EmployNV is the state’s largest database of job seekers, enabling established employers to post job openings and individuals to post resumes and search for opportunities. EmployNV offers various types of assistance to employers at no cost and can serve as an extension to a hiring department. It also serves as a statewide career hub, providing services to individuals at locations throughout the state or virtually, including assistance with resume and interviewing skills and financial assistance to those who need training. 
The Nevada Office of Workforce Innovation (OWINN) is a statewide agency established in 2016 to strengthen Nevada’s workforce through policy leadership, data‑driven strategy, and cross‑sector collaboration. Now operating under the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETR), OWINN advances registered apprenticeships, work‑based learning, industry‑recognized credentials, and career pathway development.
Nevadaworks is Northern Nevada’s Local Workforce Development Board. It provides funding to qualified service providers who work directly with a diverse population of individuals who are seeking employment or skills upgrading, or who are entering the workforce for the first time. 
Workforce Connections is Southern Nevada’s Local Workforce Development Board. It is responsible for the operation of the One-Stop Delivery System in the Southern Nevada Local Workforce Development Area. Its geographic jurisdiction includes the Clark, Esmeralda, Lincoln, and Nye Counties. The remaining counties are served by Northern Nevada’s LWDB, Nevadaworks.

OrganizationDescription
Carson City Health and Human Services aims to protect and improve the quality of life for the community through disease prevention, education and support services. It is an accredited health department hiring a wide variety of public health professionals. 
The CDC Foundation looks for committed, talented professionals willing to engage in the complex work of protecting the public’s health. Its staff works with the federal CDC, public health authorities, and partners to develop creative solutions to some of the world’s most complex health challenges. 
The Division of Public and Behavioral Health is the state’s public health department. It hires a wide range of public and behavioral health, IT, fiscal, and administrative professionals. 

Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) is committed to improving the health and safety of the Southern Nevada community. The SNHD offers many fulfilling careers that provide the opportunity to make a difference in Southern Nevada. 

Northern Nevada Public Health keeps our communities healthy, safe and informed through programs and policies created by the NNPH’s Board of Health. It hires a wide range of public health and related professionals. NNPH supports the ongoing development and training of its workforce and has implemented several programs to encourage and support employees’ endeavors to learn and grow.

Desert Meadows AHEC/ Comagine Health programs align community interests, promote collaboration and apply objectivity, experience and innovation, helping to solve the most complex challenges in health and health care. Workforce development program goals include inter-professional development among collaborative organizations to develop a pipeline for other disciplines.
High Sierra AHEC provides cultural diversity training for the adequate provision of culturally competent care to our nation’s growing minority communities. 

The Institute for Health Impact and Equity UNR School of Public Health amplifies the public health workforce through innovative research and skill-based education. By implementing a variety of training opportunities and prioritizing needs of the public health workforce, the Institute continue to address gaps and barriers within public health systems. 
Nevada Public Health Foundation is an essential partner in advancing health and wellness for our communities. It identifies important initiatives, assembles key partners, and accelerates outcomes needed to enrich our population’s health. 
The PACT Coalition provides professional training, expands current certifications for existing professionals, and helps grow the field with bridged employees to other organizations that cannot provide support to expanded employee capacity. 

 
The UNLV School of Public Health was established in 2004 with the goal of improving the health and well-being of people worldwide. More than fifteen years later, its departments, programs, and research units are growing and still working to provide a diverse education, practical training experience, and numerous community involvement opportunities to prepare students to become leaders and professionals in the field of Public Health.
