Salary Range


  • $41,000 – $62,000/ year

Education & Timeframe


  • Start Your Journey: Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Paramedicine or Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Duration: ~2 years
  • Advance Your Expertise: Paramedic Certification through an accredited paramedic program, often part of the associate degree curriculum Duration: ~1 year
  • Gain Experience: Clinical rotations and field internships with EMS agencies, hospitals, or ambulance services. Stay current with paramedic techniques, patient care practices, and relevant research. Obtain certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS).
